The inspiration for this piece, Sunday Morning in Detroit, is Gordon Parks’ book Segregation. This is from an assignment he received from Life Magazine ,recording a reflection on segregation in America and its different affects, in 1950.Once again, these are people who are the salt of the earth ,The African diaspora and part of " Las Caras Lindas De Mi Gente Negra” series.
